Project Veritas has worked with a former CNN employee, Cary Poarch, to expose the relentless bias against President Trump within the network. Below is the first part of what I’m guessing is going to be multiple videos allegedly showing that the CNN President, Mark Zucker, pushes the anti-Trump impeachment narrative.
None of it is very shocking. Anyone who watches CNN with a modicum of impartiality can tell that they long ago gave up being a source of unbiased news. They are unabashedly leftist and should simply admit it instead of pretending that they are somehow neutral. I try to watch it in small bits once every so often and I can barely stand to keep it on because it is so over-the-top in what they present as fact and reality.
I actually found it encouraging that a few of the CNN employees who were caught on tape openly admitted they wanted to do real journalism, but were prevented from doing so by Zucker who constantly demands an anti-Trump approach each day during their 9:00 a.m. rundown call (morning staff meeting). Apparently there are some actual journalists still left in America, but some of them are trapped behind the wall at CNN. Hopefully they can get out and pursue their craft in a real setting. All of America would benefit from a resurgence of real journalists.
Tim Fall has an interesting video about the Project Veritas video. It’s well worth watching the entire thing. He takes a look at media bias and American’s distrust of the media from several different angles.
I agree with him that we must fact check everything. We cannot allow ourselves to blindly trust anyone.
The graphic regarding where white liberals get their news versus white moderates and white conservatives was quite interesting. I truly believe this is where the Trump Derangement Syndrome and white guilt and self-loathing are coming from. Those themes are being largely pushed by relatively affluent white liberals and their news gathering pattern pretty much explains why.
